Bari – the city of St. Nicholas is on the south of Italy (the third largest), famous because of remains of St. Nicholas, one of the most venerated saints of the Orthodox Church. It attracts thousands of pilgrims from around the world.
We invite you to make a fascinating air-tour in the Italian city with a visit to the Basilica of St. Nicholas, where you can take part in the service, and to venerate the relics of the saint, which exude myrrh until today.
The tour runs once a week. It starts in the early morning from Thessaloniki International Airport. The plane arrives in Bari with one quick stop in Corfu.
Upon arrival at the airport of Bari, our Russian-speaking guides will be already waiting for pilgrims. Then, pilgrims will go to the Basilica of St. Nicholas on comfortable buses where they will participate in the solemn liturgy with communion in honor of the saint. Service starts at 10.30 (Italian time).
After the Basilica is lunch (it is included in the price, fish menu)
The tour continue with a walk in the city and a visit of the largest Russian Orthodox mission in the West.
About 18;00 starts a transfer to the airport for the back flight to Thessaloniki.
